the mind of a poet is a most wonderous thing
it can take you beyond peaks, soaring without wings
it can touch the deepest depths of the heart mind & soul
there is no true limit to where his expressions may go
he is calm cool and totally collected
and by those who know him he is highly respected
because true artistry comes from deep within
and he is unparralleled once he begins
cause when he writes his mind be gone
cause you can knock but nobody answers when the lights are on
a true poet will never lower himself to steal
you can tell when he writes that the emotions are real
poets are masters of their languages and creative expression
cause when they write in their words you will find a reflection
his words span millenia they defy expiration
and he will always return to his muse with true dedication
with his fellow writers he is quite at home
and when they get together you can never tell where they may go
they often are trade off inspired
cause when the brainstorms are brewing they become hot wired
success will always be just within their grasp
and it is always the most meaningful questions that they ask
often when he cannot speak he will write
and once his mind is clear everything is alright
it is not fame or fortune that he is clamoring for
but understanding and acceptance nothing less nothing more
because his words are often seen as a gift
they have the power to bring down and the strength to uplift
because he is real he takes wat he writes to heart
cause the words are more than just letters because of him they are a part
they give him true form and definition
when in the company of a like mind their is true recognition
with words he creates lifelong bonds
and with nothing are they broken they are beyond strong
of course recognition could be a goal
but true artistry can never be bought because it comes from the soul
